1. Free Trial Period

We provide a 7-day free trial on our paid subscription tiers (Premium, Business) so you can evaluate features like WhatsApp integration and GST reports. Since no credit card details are collected for starting the trial, you will not be charged unless you explicitly decide to buy a paid plan.

2. Refund Request Window

If you subscribe to a paid monthly or yearly plan and decide that SmartBill Pro does not meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase date. We believe in keeping things fair and straightforward.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your active subscription plan at any time. When you cancel:

  • Your access to paid features (like WhatsApp invoicing or multi-company registers) will continue until the end of your current active billing cycle.
  • No further automatic renewals will occur on your card.
  • We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for unused days inside the remaining billing cycle.

4. Refund Eligibility Criteria

Refunds are processed for standard subscription fees. However, please note that:

  • Refunds are not applicable to custom configuration or setup costs.
  • If a user is found to have violated our Terms of Service (e.g. attempting malware distribution or system abuse), their account will be terminated, and they will not be eligible for any refunds.

5. Processing Times

Once approved, refunds are credited back to the original payment channel (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking) within 5 to 7 business days, depending on processing speeds of Razorpay or your banking institution.

6. Submitting a Refund Request

To submit a cancellation or refund request, please email your invoice details, registered username, and reason for refund to billing@smartbillpro.com.
